Four Month Check-Up

You had your four month check up at the doctor's today. My how you have grown!! You weighed in at 13 lbs. 11 oz. and measured at 23 1/2 inches long! That is wonderful. It's amazing to think that in a little over four months you have gained seven pounds, two ounces and are four inches taller! This placed you in the 42nd percentile, which is a long way from the negatives you were in on your first doctor's appointment. Additionally, you did have more shots: DTP, HiB, Polio, Pneumococcal and Rotovirus. You cried for just a second when you felt the prick, and then stopped. You are such a brave girl- it was much more traumatic again for mommy. Your next checkup is at six months, so hopefully we won't have to go to the doctor's until then in May.

The Easter Bunny

After your doctor's visit, we traveled to the mall to have your first picture with the easter bunny. I wasn't sure how this would go since you had just had shots, so we were taking a chance on you being cranky or tired but you were great!



You didn't seem to even notice or care that a huge white bunny was holding you on his lap!! The picture came out pretty good (most of it is bunny) and the trip was a success! I even held you afterwards and kept trying to get you to look at the bunny, but you were more focused on people walking in the mall! Poor bunny!

Your First St. Patrick's Day!!!

It is finally here! St. Patrick's Day, Mommy's favorite day of the whole year!! It is something about the green, the fun, the corned beef and the beer- but mommy absolutely loves it and couldn't wait to share it with you!!!! We had to hold off on the beer and corned beef for obvious reasons (in about twenty years we will do it right), but for now you spent the day in many different green outfits!!!

You Rolled Over!!!

Today you rolled over for the first time!!! We had a family day today as Daddy was off of work- which meant we had lots of fun playing! The funny part about you rolling over was that it didn't happen while playing on your rainforest gym or tummy time on te bed. Instead, you rolled over off of Daddy's tummy!! You and Daddy were having a great time talking and playing. Daddy put you on his tummy and you began to sway from side to side. All of a sudden you rolled!!! Don't worry Daddy caught you, but you did it! You rolled over completely from off of your tummy. Not only that, but you did this many times in a row and did not have a preference as to which side. Roll to the left, roll to the right. Your new trick must've took a lot of energy, because all of a sudden you then fell right to sleep!!

We are so proud of you. :-)
